She Reads Too Much
There are a million other things I should be doing with my time...cleaning my house, riding my motorcycle, cooking my family dinner, talking to my Mother on the phone. But I can't. I just....can't. There are too many good books to read.
Other Things
So, really short. Like 58 pages on my iPad. I think the story would have been a 5-star read if it had been longer, with more insights into both Jake and Ellis as well as their back stories. As it stood it felt disjointed and unfinished. Which left me disappointed because I was interested in these two and their families. It ended with a happy for now headed to happily ever after and the words ... To be continued. But what is to be continued? Jake & Ellis' story? Or someone else? Cause it also said this was the first in a series of stories set in Chicago.
I will look for more from his debut author but will only pick I up if its longer. Novellas just don't float my boat.
