She Reads Too Much

I have mixed feelings about this book and they are going to be hard to put into words without spoilers. The entire book made me fly, made me furious, frustrated, sad, anxious and uneasy. That's not all bad really but it's not what I'm used to in a story. I found the HEA difficult to swallow and I think it was because the first and second chance happened in the space of the same book. Maybe if there had been more time between the two, some distance from the circumstances that lead up to the second chance. I dunno. It's because of my mixed feelings I've given this 3-stars. The book was well written, very emotional and the sex was very hot. Lauren Dane knows how to write erotic romance and I'll happily move on to the books in my TBR pile.
