This time it wasn't the length that hurt the story. It was Judah who hurt the story. He was kind of an asshole. Toby was a bit too perfect. The reunion happened a bit too easily to be satisfying.
Interesting look at what inertia can do to a person, to a relationship. Homelessness, without a doubt sucks donkey balls. People's ignorance and prejudice is terrible. I'm glad a portion of the money I spent on this book is going to help LGTB teens get on their feet.
However, for me, the story itself was just okay.
Time for a comfort read.
