She Reads Too Much

I enjoyed this one quite a bit and even though it's long I read it in one day. The characters were strong and compelling, both main and secondary, and I was quickly and easily drawn into the story.

It's a slow burn between Jax and Liam and it's actually quite wonderful to read about them falling in love. There are no smexy times until almost half through the book and when it happens it's pretty explosive and frequent. I'm willing to bet that people will think it happens too often but I was happy with the frequency and I felt it added to the relationship. While love was expressed frequently with words many times reassurance was given with bodies.

One thing that frustrated me was that it did not end with a HEA. While they were on the "same page" there are obviously many more mountains to climb and according to the last page of the book it happens in the next installment. I really prefer my story wrapped up in one book. Generally this would put me off from the next book but I really want to know what happens next with these guys.

So I can recommend it to my GR friends with some reservation for those that like their stories resolved in one book or don't want to wait for books in a series. You might want to wait until the series is done.
